False leg anyone?

For once the rain held off and I had a fab morning at Sunbury Antiques Market. The market is held at Kempton Race course TW16 5AQ  and all events are held on the second and last Tuesday of every month.

It’s best to get there early to make sure you don’t miss out on anything. The place is full of stalls selling lots of salvaged items from Eastern Europe, lots of glass jars, factory lights and quirky pieces as well as great items of furniture and bric a brac.

It’s a great place for inspiration and I love the idea of finding that gem that nobody else will have that you can accessorize your home with. There are also those very random things and I find myself wondering where they will end up, I spotted at least 3 false legs today and some very scary looking dolls!

There is a great spot to stop, grab a coffee and sausage sandwich.Everyone is so friendly and its great to get chatting to fellow salvage/antique nuts.

So if you’re looking for something a bit different head on down and I will see you there and buy you a coffee!!

Right then time to head off on the school run and need to clear my stash of vintage finds from the car so that I can actually fit the kids in!!

Bye all, don’t forget to watch tonight BBC 2, 7pm ‘The Great Interior Design Challenge’ as it enters an even more exciting stage!
